FLIGHT

According to aerodynamics, any object flying in the air is subject to various different forces: gravity (downwards), propulsion (forwards), drag (backwards) and lift (upwards). In order for meaningful flight to take place, these forces, which express themselves in four opposing directions, have to be balanced. Flight is a series of digitally manipulated images taken through the window of an aeroplane in an exploration of the four forces interacting with each other to reach a state of “flow”, a balance between harmony and discord, a machine designed to be in tune with natures complex elements.
